Those new uppers must be an inch shorter than stock.

I measured from the balljoint mounting surfaces and got 10” then measured the stock ones on my other car and got 10.5”.thanks for the great pictures. I did find one of the 2” ball joint spacers that i took off of my other BelAir

I’m finally starting to think this thing may run again soon. I’ve been hindered by a torn right rotator cuff, and on top of that i made a rookie mistake drilling steel wth a unibit and sprained my right wrist when it locked up. I’ve had a lot of help ftrom my good friend Roger Robinson. We finished the fuel system today.In case some are wondering I’m gonna be running my old methenol set up. Tomorrow i start wiring the car and hope to start it this weekend. I’m gonna try to get decklid pictures tomorrow.
