Moon made sets of these covers some time ago with no logo, but not with the holes unfinished. Maybe that's a "Moon" set?

I don't think it was a defect ?
, as I have a PAIR ,definitely who ever made the pair of covers meant to do so,,, and used Edlebrock for their molds ,whoever made them ? just deleted the name. :)

coping is very common. You just can't use the name
What would be the point of making without all the holes drilled? No reason I can imagine other then a mistake

Maybe just before he was going to drill them and his drill broke and he gave up? whoever made the covers was talented enough to fill in where Edelbrock logo was

Fell out the back door of the casting plant, and the person realized that they didn't have the experience to get all the holes drilled in their exact proper spacing?
