I for one like the new Camaro,vette,The CHEVROLET truck line. Not like the 50s,60s style but would be proud to have any of them in my garage . As for the small cars that GM, FORD put out, younger car guys can have them not for me.:argue:

Randy the 817 will work fine with the duel quad set up like you may need a valve job if so go with stainless.409 dreams have came true for many of us here I now have 3 409s 3 348s and still not done.Good luck with you build:cheers:cheers

Stan if it were me id go with the 011 block they are a good 348 block have used 2 011 blocks and never a problem.Boy that sounds like a nice Rod your building goodluck.:cheers:cheers

:dunnoDon to find top dead on a 283 standing in front of raidiator #1 is the first plug on the right head.Remove sparkplug put a piece of tissue paper in plug hole turn motor over by hand when you hear poof and the paper blows out you are at top dead center.Hope this helps it works for...

Has anyone tried or no of anyone that has tried a propane conversion on a 348 or 409? I have a line on a duel four kit for a V8 but wonder if the Propane would have loss of power or not enough octane. thanks for replies in advance 409 425
