    348 Oil Filter Adapter

The adapter without the bypass uses a Ford filter with a built in bypass I believe. Some find this version less prone to leaking. Maybe @Don Jacks can shed more light here. Here is a hint though that happened to me and a few others from what I've read: Make absolutely certain the...

So watched a bunch of videos on progressive linkage, notably Charlie from Vintage Speed and his Rochester 2G 3x2 set up. It happens that mine was all wrong. Secondary carbs ball rod was fastened on the wrong side of the carb base arms, sitting on the outside and same side of the carb linkage...

Really!!! I run Pertronix. I was recommended to gap somewhere around 0.028 and 0.030 I had it at 0.035 before I swapped the plug but he said it makes the spark jump further. He runs 28/29 on his. I did have a funny start on my second outing. As if it was missing or idling erratically.

Yes, I only use 91 or higher. The motor was dyno'ed back when and the guys didn't have the set up to check AF. I'd love to know the bottom line now that the carbs have been rebuilt. We saw in excess of 280 hp I believe. I wouldn't be surprised if we skimmed the 300 at this junction. Tbh, I'm...

It was also suggested to run a carb cleaner twice a season. Such as Seafoam Motor treatment. Half a bottle 2x a year, to help with the carbs. What is you top choice for plugs brand?
