    Confession

The 'Story'! I made one pre-oiler for myself just to have something to do on my lathe and to prime my engine. Finished product looked good and worked. Then I thought I could make a distributor. Haven't done that yet. Anyway around Christmas time I made 348409-002, Ronnie's gift. This was nicer...

    Confession

Hey Ronnie I hope you used the 348409-002 to pre oil that engine. If you didn't that might be a minor problem. :doh:rofl Also for everybodys information. I machined the block side of my Cloyes 9-3101 to accept a Cloyes 9-220 .150 thick captured needle bearing. Cut the gear to .145 so the...

The idea is to cruise at the highest vacuum reading without losing speed. And if you are a poor driver, one of those...

    068 block

I always thought this was strange. I even EMailed Alan Colvin, the 'Chevy by the Numbers' guy. He stated he had "NEVER" seen this anomaly before. Well I hope he is paying attention. Also this an early QB block, 4 drilled and tapped holes and no 'X'. See attached photos.

    1960 tri-power flag???

1960 Tri Power flags Chevrolet never had any Tri Power emblems on any model year ever in a passenger car. The only mention of a W motor was the cross flags. In 1960 the cross flags appear in the grill emblem with a 'V' and the deck emblem had a 'V' with the flags. 1961 was similar. 1959 was...
