Concrete is very strong under compression loads, but it is relatively weak under tension loads. The largest concern IMO is the possibility of the anchor bolts pulling out or pulling up the concrete.

"TORQUE" is your friend if you are talking about engines or wrenches. But with a lift bolted to thin concrete...not so much.

LOL...not really. It is in need of some minor TLC, so I think I got decent deal. Pretty sure I can use it a year or two and turn around and make a buck or two off of it.

I drug this home Saturday. Should be fun to play....ummm...work with around the place. I'm in the process of having a 40' x 40' shop built and will have driveway work to do as well as some other yard work and a retaining wall to build. This is my first tractor, so I can't wait to get started...

I hope to drive the car some this weekend. The temperature is only supposed to be in the 50's, so that won't be much of a heat-soak test, but it would flood regardless of temp. I will give an update.

I installed a 1/2" thick phenolic spacer last summer and it did seem to help...a little. I would like to know more about the off road need and seat. How are they different from standard? Do they use the same float?

Love the white '58...I would definitely want a black '55 Chevy sedan and a yellow '32 coupe to go with it.
