My first car was a '58 Wagon. It was a Nomad with a 348, 3-Speed. If I had an original '58 today with the original 235-6, I would surely keep it that way. Your car sure looks nice. I especially like 2-Dr Wagons.
Anyone know this car? Seems to be authentic, but sure am curious about that. Going up for auction in NC:

I sure do agree that you could not get a 235-6 or a 283 in a '61 SS, but "technically" according to many prior discussions and documentations, you could get an SS in any '61 Impala other than a Wagon (Nomad). Whether one was ever made though is another point.
Paul, I'm just doing some research work on the Z-Bar, but wondering what you find that is actually different on the '59-'60 Clutch and Brake Pedal Assembles? I've always known them to be the same and interchange and Danny at SE also agrees with me...
I believe I just answered my own question. The '59 Z-Bar has Bends on the Upper Clutch Rod side where the '60 is Straight.
Still wondering why the change though if everything else on a '59 and '60 is the same, including the Pedal Assemblies and the Frame.
OK, research shows that the Upper Clutch Rod, Lower Clutch Rod and Clutch Fork are all the same for both the '59 and '60, but yet the Z-Bar is listed as '60 and '61 only. If everything is the same, then what makes the '59 Z-Bar different?
I have learned through the years that a true factory built '61 SS had a 348 or 409 only.
Also, not mentioned for a while, there were only 453 '61 SS cars ever made.
I just checked out their list. I'm doing pretty good, but almost bought Jimmy Dean's yesterday, glad I didn't. The only other one I buy sometimes and need to cross off my list is Ballpark. Here is the list:

Well stated and well spoken.
I always liked Poster Boards.
I don't know why more don't use them.
They send a more powerful message, by not only hearing, but seeing.
