Looking for help, can anyone tell me the difference of the 3830817 heads and the 3814690 heads? The valve sizes are the same, is it in the porting? If so, can you make 817 heads flow like a 690???? :dunno Thank you for any help you can offer.

I have a 409 block standard bore, has 1 cracked cylinder. Can anyone tell me what type and thickness sleeve should be installed? Also, how much larger is the combustion chamber than the cylinder itself? Machine shops around here are not familiar with installing sleeves in this block. Thank you...

I'm getting ready to install 409 in a 55 chevy. I want to keep the stock suspension and steering box. Can you recommend a installation kit and exhaust manifolds? :dunno
