Got to play with a pipe bender last week

Checked their site. Everything I viewed is 2" pipe. I imagine they would do 2 1/2" but their prices would exceed my venture with shipping costs alone . No way would they supply a system minus the mufflers for $160.00 . Pride in doing it yourself is also a factor. Not going to polish the...

Got to play with a pipe bender last week

I'm not following the X. Plenty of clearance to go down the center and exit in front of the rear wheels. Not looking to be the original of originals in this fun driver. Thinking about old school exhaust dumps . The beauty of self expression !

Got to play with a pipe bender last week

A friend has an exhaust tube bender with cards. Hard to find 2 1/2" manifold pipes for sale other than full sets of stainless. Bent these out of aluminized steel. Car came with a set of slightly used low restriction turbo mufflers . The plan is to have the tips come out before the rear...

Found behind the barn! 64 Impala SS 2dr ht 409 4spd Car...

Nice find. Odd build. Those days one could personalize options / colors to fit your taste. As far as a rebuilder, ............... I would NEVER go through a rusty car. I am spoiled by west coast baked in the sun vehicles. Not enough lifetimes left to spend thousands of hours on a metal...

    2017 Dodge Demon

Why would it not be classified as " stock " if the factory assembled it ? The general public may have not known about the procedures to get an order through ( sales people didn't do their home work ) but big as life they came off the car carrier. Same with L-88s. Limited knowledge on 67s and...

    Question for the Harley Gurus.

Won't go there. Stayed home from family vacations to work more hours. Larger goals than the bank account........ but it worked out. Those 80 hour weeks with several jobs plus building a couple houses put my toy account in high gear. Its nice to sit back, relax and look at the inventory...

    Question for the Harley Gurus.

Actually fairly reasonable. That is what I paid several years ago. Don't know how important the balancing is. Tires are pretty sophisticated with the molding procedures. Some tires had none , others a very thin weight. Air pressure is critical to tire life and handling .

    Question for the Harley Gurus.

Wide tires and side pipes, ............ a recipe for cool cruising. Also eliminates a side stand. Quite the aggressive stance.

    Question for the Harley Gurus.

I am on the same page. Got the Honda out last fall. Started and let it run for a while to warm up. Never left the garage the season before. Sold the Gold Wing a couple years back. Just have the cruiser left. I don't feel safe on the road like I used to. Crazy drivers and deer. I prefer...

Converting standard 1962 impala to SS

What don't you understand about " while some prefer " and " I bought ". Simple language about a choice. If your offended please read the sentence again and ask yourself if it is true there is free speech and press.

    Question for the Harley Gurus.

On a " totally stock cycle ". Not the ones I have experienced. Riding weather by you ? Ice and snow on road sides in my area.

Converting standard 1962 impala to SS

While some prefer the glitz of chrome, bucket seats, and Cadillac appointments .... I bought a Chevrolet. They are widely known as a mass transportation vehicle. In some cases hot rods. My half decade search ended with a 63 Belair two door post. Love the looks, style, the basic bench seat...

    Loaded 9mm

The prices of ammo soared with the threat of additional gun control and 22 rimfire hit the roof causing shortages in many cities. Things seem to have calmed down with surplus even sale prices. I reloaded 223 decades back. Huge savings then and the fact one could taylor loads to a specific...

    Question for the Harley Gurus.

Its going to reside a long distance away. One must make sure it is up to standards and defective parts, if any are located and replaced. Back tire wear is acceptable.
