i am interested in selling this engine, will probably be pulling it out this week. buyer will be responsible for pick up/shipping costs. 2500 buys a strong running, '64 409. the engine is located in northeast ohio.

oh. and thank you all for the information, i have a couple of people in the area's jaw hitting the ground over this engine. from what i gather.. 1500-2500$ would be fair? or what's your opinion? 13xxx miles. doesn't smoke, strong runner, has been in front of a manual for it's entire life.

yes. it has a QJ truck suffix code. and it is in ohio. i don't want to pull the valve covers because it is in a cab-over fire truck. much easier when it is out.

The block casting # is 3844422 , i could not get the intake casting # (the engine is still in a cab-over fire truck) the left side exhaust is 3767583 , i didn't get the right side :bang, but it has a single 4 barrel carburetor. I do not want to pull a valve cover for head #'s until i have the...
