Hi Nasty I was not trying to be sarcastic, however since the intake and exhaust pushrods are different lengths, is it not possible that they got mixed up?

We have built a stroked and blown 409 and have bought parts from Jack Gibb . His knowledge and experience with the 409 is more than most on this site. I would suggest that you check that you have your push rods in the right holes
