Are there any differences between the 690 and 583 heads besides dates of manufacture? Is one more valuable than the other?

good info, do you run into any wheel hop issues? I like the greasable "johnny joint" on the currie ones but I like the rubber bushing and correct angle on the global west. Still kinda split 50/50 but leaning towards the global west.

thanks for the response. I've seen those as well as a number of others but i was interested in the CURRECTRAC and global west due to the heim style joint which is supposed to eliminate flex /binding. anyone have opinions on the two?

Looking at getting a pair of global west rear lower control arms for a 64 impala. I came across the CURRECTRAC arms which are a very similar design but less than half the price. Anyone have any experience with the CURRECTRAC? Are the global west arms really worth the extra cash?
