Recommendation For 1962 Impala Front Lower Control Arm Bushing

So another year has passed, and the bushing is still the same! I just drove 200 miles to a friend's BBQ in Ontario Canada, the same place where I ran my '63 Biscayne up and down between the corn fields 4 years ago. I bot the '62 a couple days after that years bbq. I'll be pm'ing a couple of youz...

Good idea Jim. I've installed poly bushing in a Corvair, lube, push in, tighten, done. Vendor recommendation?

1962 Impala - Tremec Shifter Boot - Suggestions?

My 62 impala has a tremec 5 speed and HURST shifter, and a hole in the carpet where the previous shifter used to be. The boot doesn't do the best job of covering things up. Any suggestions for something that even resembles original?

    Wipers Won't Park Properly...

I finally got my '62 impala. It was fully nut and bolt restored at least 25 years ago. When you turn off the windshield wipers, they park several inches above the bottom, I noticed that 1 wire was disconnected, and if I disconnected and reconnect it, they go thru an extra cycle and then park...

Recommendation For 1962 Impala Front Lower Control Arm Bushing

Here's what's on my '63 Biscayne, no better than the Chris Craft arm. At least it has old skool remote regulator lol. And arm should mount AHEAD of the alternator!

Recommendation For 1962 Impala Front Lower Control Arm Bushing

Here's my cracked alternator bracket, on my Chris Craft 409 in my '62 Impala. I don't like the head spacer, and hardware store bolts. Tacky IMO. And I'd prefer a clutch fan, but they're all failure prone Taiwan junk
