When I built the engine 9 years or so ago the Crane springs where recommended. Now the shop said they where to short and will not work on the 690. They are to short. I would have thought the 333s, 817 and 690 would take the same height spring.

I believe you will need the rotator deletes I did on mine. Not rotators but the deletes.

The '62 intake would be large port and if the 4GC is small cfm you would be better off buying a new intake and Edelbrock or Holley carb.

I had a MSD it quit, may have been my fault, converted stock distrib to Pertronics II, works great!

My '62 348 truck engine had the dip stick on the right. Maybe all the truck 348's at least '62 and up had them on the right.

I ordered seat foam from Ciadella's I sent it back, cost me $90. Just foam, no contours to it, just blocks of foam. You may have have better luck, but buyer be were.
