My experience with the glass bowl filters is that the new gas softens up the gaskets and if it sets and dries up the gasket will shrink causing a major leak the next time its fired up. I have these on a couple of cars but keep a close eye on them.

PCV system does a much better job of evacuating moisture from the crankcase. The road draft tube only does a good job when going down the highway. PCV system works all the time.
