Thanks for the quick replies. I have bypassed the blast resistor. I also have he ked that I am getting 12V at the coil. I used my timing light and checked all of the wires and 3 are dead. Keep the suggestions comming.

I am considering changing out the 4 speed for the new TKX 5 speed in my 62 409 Biscayne. Has anyone had any experience with this swap. Tremec says it will fit in the same space as a conventional 4 speed.
