Throttle cable ideas for using stock gas pedal?

409 with a M/T crossram setup... I've set the engine in once just to verify motor mounts, clearance, etc. I'm thinking there's no way the stock throttle arm is going to work so I've been looking at ideas for using a throttle cable. Is anyone using an aftermarket pedal assembly? It looks like...

Anyone using the Energy Suspension poly motor mounts?

Thanks Keith, I'm pretty sure I've read them all. I need to start with setting the engine in with poly mounts and seeing where I'm at with pan clearance and hood clearance w/o an air cleaner, and work backward from there.

Anyone using the Energy Suspension poly motor mounts?

If so, how as the fit? My 63' was originally a SBC car, and I was hoping to use the Energy Suspension mounts. Show-cars sells one but I can't tell if it's "short & wide" or "tall & narrow" version. Not sure which version I'd need to be honest. Trying to get the engine to sit as low as...

Anyone running a hydroboost setup with the W?

Thanks @Tex63 - looking at my firewall w/o the engine in it looks like it would be close, but that's awesome that it will clear.

Anyone running a hydroboost setup with the W?

I have a CPP Hydroboost setup on my 63' that works amazing, but since removing the SBC, I'm not sure if will fit with the W. Are any of you running a hydroboost setup? Did you have to modify anything to make it fit?

T56 Conversion in an X-frame Questions

Looking at what's involved in doing a T56 Magnum swap into my 63'. I'm good on the shifter, trans, bellhousing, flywheel/clutch parts... looking for guidance on what you guys did for clutch pedal/linkage for a hydraulic setup. I was going to buy a factory clutch/brake pedal assembly but after...

Hello all I’m Greg from sunny lake Havasu!

A late welcome to the site! I used to visit a few times a year but now that my parents moved from LHC to Tennessee, it may be a while before I go back. That's an impressive stable you have! I imagine it fills up even a Havasu-sized garage quite well.

    Highly optioned 63' Belair Wagon, 481W / 6-speed / 9" Air-ride build

I purchased my 63' Belair wagon in 01' sight unseen for $6300. I had been in the hunt for an old Chevy wagon and my dad happened to be at Hot August Nights in Reno when he spotted it, called me and I gave him the green light. It was lowered on 15" American torq-thrusts and was 100% stock...

    Headers

@quik9r - any chance you'd be willing to sell those or let me rent them for my dyno session? I need a custom set of headers made for my lowered 63', and I can't bring myself to pay $900 for a new set just to have my new 481" (build in progress) dyno-ed... and don't want to dyno with a set of...

    ACP / Stahl Headers Pic

I was having a difficult time locating pictures of the ACP / Stahl headers. I managed to get a hold of Greg Stump at ACP and he sent me this photo. They're offered in either 1 3/4" stepped to 1 7/8", or 1 7/8" stepped to 2". One tube goes around the frame rail and might require minor...
