I started to Polish the Intake and it turned out to be alot of work and un-satisfying. The Finish was inconsistent so I decided to Paint with Eastwood Aluma Blast and Cleared it with their 2k Clear. We'll see how it holds up!

I'm rebuilding my 409 and debating weather to Paint my Aluminum Intake Manifold or Polish it? What are the experience's been ?

I do understand that the Intake valve has to match up with the Larger relief cut out. I thought it was a less obvious micro measurement in the positioning of the piston!

I keep hearing "Make sure the Pistons are in the right Holes" What indicators are there to get this right the first time or do you have to put the pistons in multiple holes to see which one fits the hole best!
