Well guys.. here are some pictures for you.. Everything is back in place and working the bugs out.. No engine leaks.. No trans leaks.. no fuel leaks.. Runs down the road well and really "GETS"!!! Gonna run the Gibbs BR30 in the engine for another week then change it out for Mystic 15W-50. Car...

I'm hoping so... Dropped the crank and camshaft in the engine today.. Tomorrow I'll be assembling all the rods/pistons, etc.. Assembled heads today and the only missing link is the pushrods for the valvetrain.. Hoping like hell to get the engine back together and in the car next week..

Here's an update guys... Engine is at the shop and I've been working along with the machinist on it.. I also had the 700R trans re-done with a 2500 stall and everything was made "right" for the car. The 454 ended up being in fair shape--but the only thing being re-used is the block with main...

Well--the sweet ride WAS sweet.. Just sour now.. Last week the carburetor told me it needed a rebuild when the needle on the secondaries clogged up and caused fuel to gush from the vent.. I'm prettttty certain it had been doing this for awhile as the accelerator pump for the secondaries had...

Well, I fixed the rear axle seal leak--that was fun.. Bought a new tool in the process as I did not own an axle puller.. Took it for a cruise from Salem, WI to Gurnee, IL for the local Friday McDonalds get-together.. I kinda liked the snotty remarks I got from the "purists" with their shiny...

Hmmmm. That one appears to have backup lights on the rear deck?? Unless someone just put those lenses on it. Looks like a great solid start..

Don, thanks.. I like the rear tires, and the whitewall thing.. I'm 50/50 on that now.. But--no big deal as it is.. The plan will be to get all the interior stuff, and all fresh rubber.. I have to re-chrome the front bumper.. But, I'll re-spray the original seafoam green.. I'm currently stuck...
