I have a 327 with Hedman longtube headers in my 69 C10 yes that bracket will work for the alt. no problem at all. I allso have ac in it and used a bracket set from vintage air that were on ebay for cheap that were on a guys shelf $35

No both ends are indexed ,read somewhere that a guy put a piece of rubber hose on the cut end to keep from moving. Just found a set of moog #6312 that might be the ticket anyone used these for the front , pictures would be great .

Was thinking of lowering the front of the 63 about 1" ,all 4 springs were replaced with stock Moog in the last few years the fronts last year Would like to even it or have a slight rake. I feel 2 " would be to much for my liking, If a half coil is cut do I not worry about indexing the cut end...

I just swapped out my 605 for the CPP 500 ,the 500 bolted directly to frame all though I had clearance issue with the 3 core radiator (ALUM. aftermarket}. Had a problem with the twitchy steering at high speeds with the 605, a pressure reducer kit may have cured it but I found a deal on a 500 and...

Yeah copy on a 3 row radiator hitting it even clips a stock 2 core but will work . My 605 was ok for awhile but it progressively got worse, it was fine under 50 mph or so but above that it was scary. Diving along and get a slight bounce in the car (bridge deck)a nd it would want to zip to one...

OK got my new box today and took out my 600 box ,great I'll have this done in a few hrs. Oh hell NO new 500 box hits my radiator, aftermarket aluminum rad because my original had a tiny leak in it . old one is 2 1/4" wide and my alum. is 2 1/2" :mad6:angry2. Didn't think it would be a problem...

Anyone installed a shim kit in the 605 steering box ? Put a P.S. kit (Borgenson) in the 63 and all was good until last night anything above 50 mph and it wis real sensitive thought I was going in the ditch several times scared the crap outa me , glad no one was with me. Then I rememberd a post...
