Yes and Yes. Only "problem" was cutting the hump and messing with driveline angles. Everything else is pretty straight forward. I have 3.70 gears which work out to 3:03 in 5th.
I have the IED shaft and fuel line in stock location. No problem. I have the Big Super T-10/Turbo 400/ Tremec yoke too. IE says some frames require clearancing and some don't.
A lot of circle track low dollar divisions rules are set up so the 461 and 462 type heads are the best heads to run. Shipping is always a killer on stuff like this and rear center sections though. A lot of numbers matching guys would still like the camel humps for small block stuff they are doing.

In 62 the 927 cars were not rare or limited. 63's were. I have a 62 927 that I painted black shown in my avatar. Mine was originally a 250HP 327 with a powerglide, power steering and manual brakes.
