my 8.5 compression is actual compression figured with a block of lexan on top of the cyl. and filling it with washer fluid to measure volume. i figured it after the block was decked. i decked the block so i would have zero deck. the piston comes to the top of the block. its hard to get higher...

Comp Cams composite dist. Gear fail.

Ray the teeth that are still on the gear don"t look bad. i agree with earlier posts that the oil pump bound up for some reason. when you try to turn it now with an oil pump primer will it turn freely. looks to me like the pump locked up and the gear was the weakest link. heavy oil would have...

Wood Fired Brick Pizza and Bread Ovens

it takes a few hours to warm the oven up so we will have plenty of time for a few cocktails and a shop tour and a falcon ride. (the falcon ride before the cocktails) our refreshment of choice are margaritas. but anything goes at our house and anyone from this group is always welcome.

Ray your car is amazing. is that an original color? and if it is what was it called? the color fits the car and trim perfectly. when someone says "they don't build them like the used to" they must be looking at your car. i'm not sure whats wrong with your mill but i would be happy to help fix it...
