The brake booster did not come with the lever assembly. At least I now know how it is supposed to connect. Thanks for the information everyone.

As seen in this photo, the pushrod from the brake booster is about 1-1/2 inches higher than the hole in the firewall.

I still need to post my introduction, but I have a pressing issue. I found the disc brake interchange list on chevytalk and purchased a 1964 Impala power brake booster as well as the bendix master cylinder. Both parts arrived last week. However, the brake booster does not line up with the brake...
