I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on old king distributor testing machines. I came across someone selling one but I can’t find any info on them. It is a D-5 model. Everything I find when I search is for sun machines.
Well then that can is misleading! They should have a few different vehicles on it to imply it works on all vehicles.
Brad there is a structure inside that it’s welded to that is tweaked so just pulling it will be a pain so it needs cut out straightened then rewelded in.
I know it’s a long shot but wondering if anyone has a spare piece of a left quarter panel between the door and wheel opening for a 62 impala. Mine is bent up on my project. They used to make just this section in front of the wheels but it has been discontinued. Here is a picture of the area I’m...

Jeff part of my motivation of doing this myself is remembering the hackery that was done on my impala when the body guy did that one years ago. It looks decent to most but I know what was done and I don’t like how it was repaired now that I know better.
Haven’t updated this for a while. I put it on the back burner for a bit when I built the motor for my impala last year as my garage is small and I didn’t want dust, dirt, and grinding material flying around while doing motor work. I was working on trying to keep the existing trunk pan in place...
I think it is the same James as I had a w block with big block 4 bolt main caps installed and I know some that have had big block main girdles installed on them too.
I put the isky red zone lifters in my last build and it is a street engine. I have the same thought as Jeff that diesels use bushed lifters and they last a very long time. Just changed a set with 900,000 miles and they were still tight but customer wanted a new set in his overhaul.
