    1953 Pick-up Project

Well I have purchased another 4x4 frame for the 53 truck project. I started with a 2002 extended cab s10 4x4 frame that was a pretty good starting point to start modifying. Well I got a chance to buy a S10 ZR2 frame (off road package) for cheap and found that this gives me an automatic lift of...

I talked to him about the "Cheap distributer " I saw on EBAY. His response to me was ...If it were a small block or big block chevy there are plenty alternatives...

    1953 Pick-up Project

Well here are a couple of pics on the very start of the project. The frame is a 2002 S-10 4x4. The trans is a Getrag 5 speed and the transfer case will be a NP243. The 348 fits suprisingly well. Of course there will be a minor amount of fab work but I am pleased with how little.

I told the shop that I was not interested in paying a ridiculous amount to save this block. I mentioned $1000 would be just crazy. (we were discussing complete block prep) He said oh we won't be even close to that. I am Still waiting for a price. I am hoping somewhere about $500. I plan on Big...

    Never Chance This

This is a slight stray from your problem as I do agree that the cam is ground upside down and backwards. BUT please entertain yourself with a YOUTUBE video that I posted from my last motor build. The motor is a 95 LT1 383. The timing gear set was a brand new Extreme Duty GM performance part (BIG...
