Fairly certain it needs a 4 speed behind it, Pistons I believe will be forged, flat tappet hyd cam, undecided on alum heads or rework the 333's. engine may need fitech or holley sniper efi.

The weirdest thing happened today. My wife secretly purchased a project 56 2dr post car from a friend of mine, for me. Fathers day/birthday. Sooooo.... the 409 might have to go into the tri five. The 59 might have to stay with "banger" status for a while.

Good point. I have my dad's 56 chev right now, he loaned it to us for the summer. He's got big sway bars front and rear, wow does that thing take the curves nice.

I can see spreading the drive load to both axle halves as a good thing, makes sense.
