    Nothing was at TDC. I just wasn’t thinking about it when I tore it down. The odd part was it was a 1964 grain truck. What are the odds a car engine was replaced. None of it really matters that much. It did also have a newer double roller chain. Seems from what I read those 333’s perform well...

    How do you tell what completion pistons these without assembling and cc’ing.

    Who knows after 60 years. It’s a .030 bore and a turned 409 crank. Fairly fresh rebuild.

    Do you know anything about the 333 heads. I read if I put a 2.06 valve in and a little port work wakes that engine up. This is what’s in the wagon now.

    So far so good. I just see a small pit in one of the cylinders.
