So after replacing the drum brakes on all corners with discs I’ m looking for direction on the purchase of a brake booster to work with the 409. I’m sure some of you have figured this out? My other thoughts are hydro boost system. Thanks for your input
Hi Paul, makes perfectly good sense. 2 1/2 it is, also using a dynaflow muffler. Looks like the old turbos of the 70’s. Yes I’m in my sixties. Thanks to all of you for your input. Rich
Yes correct, would definitely need to fabricate from the collector back some. I can do that, difficult to bend the backend. What size diameter pipe are you using
I’m at the point of doing the exhaust system. 409 , 583 heads Wilson 1 7/8 tubes. Hydraulic roller and rockers. Looking to buy a pre built system, any recommendations? Thanks.

I have the cast pulley and it lines up well with some shimming on the show case parts. I was concerned about the angle of the small block pump as it doesn't install as upright on the 409. The challenge will be with the top bracket of the two supplied. Going to need some fabrication for the...
