I have heard that radial tires should not be used on the orignal rims that came on the car. Is this true and must I buy new rims?

Proportioning valve
No prop valve Also installed a duel master cylinder a couple years ago. Did not use a prop valve, have power brakes with all 4 drums. Stops on a dime now. Russ

Leaking engine, transmission.
Is it possible on these old cars, 60 chevy, to fix all the leaks under the car, or is it even worth trying?

Generator or Alternator
Gen/Alt I have the Powermaster alternator on my '60 and have had no problems. Fits where the generator was.:) A bit spendy through:eyebrow

Wow Nos Hubcaps
69 Chevelle I still own a pair of dog dish caps that were never installed on my car. Still in the factory box. Car long gone.

My original Tubroglide lasted 48 years and 78,000 miles.:) My rebuild Turboglide lasted 8 months and 700 miles.:dunno Go figure. Russ
