I got these steps when I bought the 62 wagon. They were in a box of extra parts. I just dug them out but they don't go to the 62 bumper. Anyone recognize what rear bumper they will fit? I will be selling them...or tradeing for 62 grille and headlight bezels once they are identified...thanks...

Try double clutching......if it still wont down shift I would think trans linkage or shifter adjustment is out.

I believe that Brian Thompson was offering a suggestion to resolve a much talked about problem with the 500 box. It may not be the choice for everybody...only one suggestion for someone willing to provide a solution that worked for him under his circumstances. It sounds like your circumstances...

This thread really has me thinking about my wiring on the 62. Where would the fuseable links go for the alternator and ignition switch...close to each source near the connection to the part or in the loom under the dash somewhere at a distance from the part. pictures are alway good...what amp...
