348 with Carter WCFB idle mixture setting?

I have a 1960 348 with a Carter WCFB. Does anyone know what the approximate (or initial) idle mixture setting should be? All vacuum ports are plugged. Only the vacuum for the distributor is hooked up. How many turns out should I start with? Thanks!

348 oil drain back passages in heads?

Does anyone have a trick for making sure the oil drain back passages in the heads of a 348 are clear? I see the passage way is more/less a 90 degree intersection of two drilled holes. Is there an easy way to verify this is open?

1958 348 tri power main jet size?

Thanks for all the info! These data sheets are exactly what I was looking for. I also got a hold of Jon in Eldon, Missouri. He said a lot of people are running .059 in all three carbs. I will probably start with 60's in all three as a baseline.

1958 348 tri power main jet size?

I am restoring a 1958 348 tri power setup. Does anyone know what the stock jet sizes are for these three carbs? I was able to find the jet sizes for 59 to 61 tri power in my shop manual, but the sizes for 1958 were not listed and the carbs (more specifically the venturis) are different for...
