yes im pretty shure thats the problem. because were getting a good spark but it wont fire. it just floods itself out.:bang :bang

I have a 59 chevy 2 1/2 ton truck with a 348 and the carb on it is a piece of crap.We rebuilt it once but it is still not reliable. does anyone know what modern carb would fit on it?????:bang :bang :bang

The housing on the trucks is quite a bit larger than the typical t-stat housing & there was no stat in the truck when I bought it. I'll keep searching:bang :bang

I have a 1959 chevy spartan 100 2.5 ton dump truck with a 348. we cant find a theromostat anywhere. the housing seemes to be larger then a regular motor. does anyone know where i can get one?:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
