Please! That would help! I just couldn’t get it fanagled so I could run an AN fitting off the end of the filter.

OCD Strikes Again. 90 Degree Elbow for Stock Mechanical Fuel Pump…

I tried that Edelbrock kit, matter of fact it was in there before I went this direction. The problem was it ended a half inch from where the heater hose outlet on the manifold was. I mean, pointing right at it.

OCD Strikes Again. 90 Degree Elbow for Stock Mechanical Fuel Pump…

Well fellas. After staring at it for another hour or so - yes I literally stared at it - I figured out how to make the turn under the fuel pump. I basically had to sacrifice a few inches of tubing so I could get a proper bend. So now I know how to at least get from the pump to the top of the...

OCD Strikes Again. 90 Degree Elbow for Stock Mechanical Fuel Pump…

After Googling images for 3 hours straight, I’ve come to a conclusion there’s no such elbow. I’m just going to attempt to bend my last few foot of tubing and hope in don’t get any kinks. I’ve got a set of Imperial tube benders, but I need the first bend to start right at the rear of the ferrule...

OCD Strikes Again. 90 Degree Elbow for Stock Mechanical Fuel Pump…

Yup, I saw that one too. Seems the C3 Corvettes and the 68-72 Novas had to have this type of elbow to clear obstacles too. Well, guess I’ll be doing some Googling later!

OCD Strikes Again. 90 Degree Elbow for Stock Mechanical Fuel Pump…

Ok gang. My OCD is really screwing me up on this one. So I need to run 5/16 hardline from my stock, mechanical fuel pump to rubber line/filter. However, I can’t get bends tight enough with tubing to miss the lower radiator hose. Soooo I’m thinking installing a 90 degree, pointing up, to make it...

You guys are great!!! I think you helped me figure it out. I need to energize the relay. Now I can sleep without seeing wires in my sleeps. I’ll be the first to admit, this forum has helped me more than you know. Everyone here is free with their knowledge and skill. I really think the world...

    New Wire Harness Install

Don, tried it and still nothing. On my new horn relay, it has a terminal named BAT. I wonder if I need to run a jumper from the battery to the relay?

    New Wire Harness Install

You know at some point in a project, you just sit and stare at an issue so long, your family gets worried. Well, I’m that person. Just installed a new American Autowire kit into my ‘61. I’m quite shocked at how well it all went in. Even the original harness clip locations were correct. I got...

PerTronix Ignition and Wiring Harness Question

Good eye! Actually I just stuck the draft tube in that open tap on the intake temporarily. Yep, the end of the draft tube will eventually get piped to the base of the carb :D

PerTronix Ignition and Wiring Harness Question

Hey gang, Need a new engine harness for my '61. I also have updated the ignition to a PerTronix Flamethrower Coil and Distributor pn #104600. I found an American Autowire version that configured for an HEI ignition. Question. Would the PerTronix coil and distributor be considered an HEI?
