Well, it looks like I have exactly what I was told it is. A "P" case positraction thirdmember with a Richmond 4.56 gear.

I don't see any other stampings on this case. However, I did see this number on the posi carrier while spinning it around.

Is there anything that tells if it's a 3 series, or a 4 series,etc.? Or will that be revealed in the stamping on the passenger side of the case?

Updated with lower prices in the for sale section. This is going to make someone a really good car with a little more floor work, especially with all the extra parts that come with it. Time for it to go, would like to start cleaning my stuff out of my parents garage after the first of the year.

How about a GM G body 8.5 10 bolt with 3.73 gear, Moser axles, custom fabricated crossmember and adjustable upper control arms, 1 inch narrower per side than stock rear, and no panhard bar causing tire installation headaches? Pm me for pics, details, price.
