    NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

This was the first 348-409 event I've attended and can honestly say I've never met a group of guys and gals so classy and friendly. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. Thanks to all those who helped to put such a great event. The W racing was icing on the cake...

    NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

Jeremy, I'm in for parking together. What are you diving and when do you expect to arrive? My cell # is 502-759-4849. Look for my 64 Biscayne. Gary

    NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

Be arriving early Thursday morning. Any of the show/shine guys interested in parking together? If so, I usually try to park in the trees straight back from the starting line. Lots of shade and usually a good breeze. Look for my 64 Biscayne. Gary Gary

Anybody use a 4 row repro radiator from Classic Industries?

Regarding cheap Chinese aluminum radiators, how much quality do you expect for $188? These cooling tubes are epoxied rather then tig welded. They are unrepairable and become throw aways. Gary

    NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

Dave, thanks for your reply. I've been going to the HRR for years always driving a car. Its like most car shows. Parking has always been first come first serve. I still don't understand the organizing a group of non race cars if we're parked all over the complex. Gary

    NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

Martin, I was just wondering why cars not racing were encouraged to participate if they are not going to be part of the 348-409 group. Gary

    NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

Martin, based upon your latest post, it looks as if those not racing will not be parking or associating with the rest of the 348-409 group. You stated you'll look into having the non racers park together the day before the event. Obviously in an area away from the racers. Seems kind of late to...

    Radiator Hose Help

Didn't know Walker made radiators for our cars. Glad to hear it I really like their products. My 46 Ford convertible has had one in it for almost 20 years and still going strong when I sold the car.

    Radio: Repair or New?

I wouldn't spend a dime on an original AM radio and wouldn't mess up my dash or wiring installing a repop radio. I use a JBL Flip ll bluetooth speaker ($100) and a smart phone or IPOD for tunes. Its totally wireless and plays thousands of songs of my choice. Can be used in my car, garage, beach...

Ebay tips for sellers (add any you know!)

When listing a car for sale be sure to add a statement saying the car is for sale locally and you reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. This allows you to sell the car before the auction closes. I also include a statement saying I don't need any help selling the car. This cuts...

    Headlight Bezels

Carmine, you have some pair of nerves expecting anodizing on cheap Chinese repop headlight bezels that are made by small children. I looked at repops once for my 62 and they appeared to be slightly thicker then tin foil. For me its OEM's or nothing.
