I have one on my '61 Ford Fairlane. I think I paid $350 a few years ago. It even came with the original gasket that went between the scoop and hood. My scoop grill was originally painted but I had it chromed. People seem to like it on my OS/S replica build.
Phil Bonner told me he could have cared less about NHRA races like the US Nationals or Winternationals. He cared about match racing because that is where the money was. Trophies and titles didn't pay the bills. That is the main reason he did very little class racing.
