I just got my tires this morning, and my brother and I plan on coming sat. morning. was looking for a set of wide whites, browsed craigslist yesteday and a set of 4 denman g78-14's showed up. New, still in the wrapper. Not the radials I was looking for, but 4 new tires gets me to thompson...

I have some stacks for a 58 that someone tacked on my air cleaner (59) I just cut them off last night. You are welcome to them if it will help you. I can bring them to thompson with me, let me know.

I've been working like crazy to get ready for this weekend. Thought I would share some before and after pics thus far. Still waiting on a few parts from showcars. Dad pointed out that I had the air cleaner lid on upside down.... been a long couple days and nights in the garage. :cheers...

This is defenitely a 59 or 60 unit. the tack welds look pretty amateur. I'll still have to be careful cutting them. Thanks for the input

Thanks, I hope to have it on the car and dialed in by sat. I was just looking at the pics of the air cleaner and thought it looked funny. Went and checked Dad's 60 and sure enough somebody modified this one a little. It's an original, but somebody tack-welded three extensions on the bottom...
