Overhauling

I watched the story on the '61 & it was great.

Chip made a couple of great comments about the 409 engine, enough to put a big smile on my face.

The only part I "cringed" at was when Chip said he could run the #'s and find out if the car came with a 409.

I've "hinted" to my wife and daughter several times how "nice" it would be to be "overhauled"

I watched it last night also. Liked everything right up to the bandage tires and oversize wheels. Just my opinion but I don't think they belong on the X frames !

I saw it too last night. It was a real High short shortblock assy. with the windage tray studs. But either 690 or 583 heads so probably not a 61 409 block. I liked the blue in the original rendering....too much black in the paint for me. Owner seemed like a really nice person!!!
