rear e brake cables

When using a 9 inch, what e brake cables are used? Stock or otherwise? Stock seems long.

Can you not use the Chev cables and attached to the F^*# E brake lever.
The ball/barrle/Crimp on the cable should be adaptable, have you checked to see if the E brake lever is interchangeable between the 10 bolt and 9".

Brian, I used my factory park brake cables when I installed a 9" in my 1962 Impala SS. The only modification I made was I cut about an inch of free length off of the spring at the end of the cable where it mounts to the emergency brake lever.

I used the stock cables and just used U-blot clam to bring the two cables together worked fine

I ended up using stock cables and they fit right on with no modifications at all.

That's good to know, I've got to order the weld on brackets from Currie and get the axles drilled before the rear end goes in.
