valve cover question. Does it matter which side the oil is put in with a 350 crate motor?

I bought some real nice 327 valve covers period style for my 63 Impala and the oil filler cover only fits right on the passenger side of the motor. Any issues?

Depends on where you are located relative to the equator, right hand rule for proper circulation.





Just kidding, put them where they fit and look good.

No issues there, oil drains back equally from both heads.

Are these stock 327 covers,or are they aftermarket units? Stock 62-66 327's had no holes in them for either oil fill,or pcv breathing.Oil went in thru the fill tube at the front of the engine.
