someone noticed this car in the background of another post, rear frame,triangulated 4 link,8 3/4 Chrysler shure grip s s-10 front stub. 455 olds power,th-350 trans.engine is set back around 7'' interior tin work coming together. starting to look like something. building rockers and door bottoms. floor skeleton,3'' duals, x pipe no mufflers straight out the back. rockers. lots of fabrication. fabricating 55 buick taillight quarter panel extension.

more. bitchin lights. frenched headlights front suspension,frame and undercarriage full raptor bed lined car is 58'' tall to the crown of the roof. body work,,body work,,body work. finally some primer.. my dog ''slick'' says about time you got that shitcan out of my garage. almost ready for paint.

super cool car dad when can I go for a ride.
I need to get more pics uploaded to my computer.body of the car is now painted,satin black with Aztec gold dash board,engine,and the inset of the 53 bel air stainless I am installing on the sides.
engine-trans are installed,4 wheel wildwood disc brakes,fuel system is done,started the wiring.
this winter finish body work on doors and fenders-hood,then final assemble.

bel air trim installed. 99 pt cruzer Aztec gold.pictures do not do justice it has a ton of pearl in this color,really looks like a tri coat. tins and the intake and cover powder coated ''chrome'' by max mcllellan fulton ny. SEM hot rod black,59 caddylights in 55 buick shell. one sexy bitch. pic took today.

I've never heard of DMV's giving out registration info?

thanks for the reply guys.this is the first ''CUSTOM'' I have ever done,usually I just do muscle car or stock style restos.doing a custom lets you get creative but sometimes you get so far off the path that you put tons of hours into changing ideas midstream.im pretty happy with the modifications so far,i am thinking of splitting the hood and tipping the front down a few degrees,but I am at a crossroads with time,i really want to drive this car next summer and I could put a month in modifying the front clip.

Not anything to do with the cool one being restored here but there's WAY more then 5 1953 deliveries, I see 2-3 per month around here (not cool like the one in this thread)

Thats the # of 53's Ive seen in person, 2.

IDK how he got those #'s but it was the early 80's so who knows. I recall him saying he paid for some search. I'll ask.
