Daytona Beach, Turkey Run. Anybody going? The wife and I are heading down tomorrow, taking the 61 Catalina. It's a great way to spend Thanksgiving. We usually eat Thanksgiving dinner at a place called The North Turn, it located at the north turn of the old beach race track. Maybe we will see some of you, if you see a green 61 Pontiac give me a shout.

Some more, a GTO just for Ray. Exterior is pale yellow, interior is red and it PHS documented. The El Camino has a late model Camaro front end, looks pretty good. The 61 flat top had a sold sign on it.

That's all for today. We had Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant called The North Turn, it's located at the actual site of the forth turn of the old beach race course. Neat place and good food.

We sure did have fun yesterday but today we spent 2 hours trying to go from the hotel to the race track and never got there. Cars and people everywhere. I've been coming to this event for twenty years and never seen anything like this. I guess it's the gas prices being down so much has allowed more people to travel.
Oh well, we had our own car show at the hotel and across the street at the Bel Air Plaza

No wonder I didn't tag up with you there. I thought that I had seen you and I think your wife walk by once but I could not get past the fence barrier where I thought that you were. Looked for you at the show car section of the center field also. I too was taken back by all the construction at the track and I-4 as well. Accidents on I-4 so I took 44 to I-95 and went to the track that way. The entire field was arranged differently this weekend. Still has a good time though! Hope to see yous next year!!!!!
