Glad to see you in the picture with Hayden. I know it was special for you. Hayden was sitting in our tent at Great Bend when I asked him to go with me to watch the racing. He said "sure". Then completely off the cuff I said "do you want to pass out the trophies?" He said SURE!!!!! I know he enjoyed handing out the trophies just as much as you were in having him do it!!!!!

My very first experience with this great bunch of 4O9'ers was Great Bend's 10 year reunion, (I've never been the same since), and Gerry's car was on top of the list, so much that I made sure I took pic's of his build for my '62 Belair, (which I didn't even have at the time). He sets the bar on a great looker and great hooker. Thanks for the inspiration Gerry......
