GBRG07 Well Known Member Supporting Member 1 Oct 9, 2017 #11 My Dad made them out of trailer fenders. Needed to recurve them for 14" wheels and they turned out pretty nice. He built the car and I got it when he passed a couple of years ago. To many SBC street rods out there and always wanted a 409 !!

32chevy348 Well Known Member Supporting Member 1 Oct 9, 2017 #13 How's the steering clear the header ? To bad the headers didn't pull in like the small block ones do. I'm going to have the same problem.

GBRG07 Well Known Member Supporting Member 1 Oct 9, 2017 #14 The steering shaft is almost under the cylinder head so it clears fine.
