Welcome. That El Camino is gorgeous and my absolute favorite year. I wish it was mine and you had a better one.
thanks for the warm welcome fellas, I'm partial to the first year elky but do like the following years...I built a '71 chevelle that won 49 consecutive 1st place awards including 8 super chevies in florida years ago...won their top 10 in the nation back in the late 80's...no more shows for me...damn car cost me a marriage and my live savings...
I ordered a cusom fan shroud and 2 spal fans from brassworks.com...they did a fine job but I'm wondering who's fan shroud this one is...I sent schematics for the build and the guy didn't think mounting tabs to secure the shroud/fans to the radiator support...an easy fix with 16 gauge aluminum, a brake, and some rivets...so much for custom made goods...
