Headlights

Hey guys I got a question about headlights is there a difference between the inner bucket and outer bucket I got the outer lights in I cant get the inside ones to sit flush

Yes there is. I believe the locating slots are different for low beam and hi beam bulbs. Are the outers clocked correctly andsitting flush in the cup ?

what year?
There are numbers and letters stamped in the headlite buckets on the tabs on the side of each one. I think all 61-64 are the same 61 and 62 for sure are the same.
R1 and R2 (Pass side) and L1 and L2 (drivers side)

Thanks for the reply it's a 63 2d ht I seen the l1 and r1 but the others don't have no marks and the ones that don't the bulbs don't sit flush

If the ones that do not have the markings do not fit the glass tabs on the two headlines, I bet they are from another year.
I have about 3-4 sets with all the right markings and some extras for one side.

I got it figured out thank you it's the new bulbs they don't have the same tabs I'm going to get some stock replacements

It appears that the repos that used to sold by Lectric or Parts Place are no longer available. Does anyone know if repos are available?

62 Chevy replacement headlites

Here is what I use on my 62’s
Sylvania H5001 (high beam)and H5006(low beam) halegon headlites fit ( have the glass tabs on them)and work nice in my 62’s
