Don’t have to get my hands dirty and my 62 gets fix’s.
Since my son is Keeping my 62 over the winter and his winters are shorter then mine in Michigan.
He was driving my 62 in North Carolina and said “your 62’s ride is terrible”, so he went out purchased new shocks on all corners.
Then he found one of the lower a-arms had a small crack inside the large hole where the shock attaches p, he’s welding it up.
Thats his 62 wagon in the background of the 1st photo.54270215-053C-43E1-8FB5-BD6BCDA5F61C.jpeg17CBDCD1-ED18-4E9A-A448-2A2FE5E55778.jpeg

Trying to clean things up in the mancave, need to make some room for current and future projects.

Can you see that it's a little crowded right now (and that's after I moved stuff around)?

Tom:
That's way too crowded. I'll be glad to bring my trailer up and help you make some more working room - no charge!

Organized some of my motor stuff as I'm bored as it gets. The 2 motors on the stands are a good 63 814 340hp 409 that just came out of 1 of my cars for my newest motor then the other 409 is a 65 400hp motor I'm building that has the crank and cam in just need to hang the pistons on the rods. There is also 2 348's on the shelves behind the 09's20200329_134626.jpg20200329_134618.jpg20200329_134632.jpg20200329_134753.jpg20200329_134744.jpg20200329_134759.jpg20200329_134807.jpg

Them sure are some good looking exhaust manifolds on the wall. They could hang around in my garage :D Actually that is why I haven't purchased one of several sets over the past few years. I don't think I would ever get around to using them. However if a nice set came up for a great price I would get a back up set. I still kick myself for not purchasing a set that looked damn near new a few years ago for $1000:doh

The 690's in the wood boxes are used heads that are really nice but bare, I saved those boxes because Pat did a really nice job on those boxes a few year ago when I bought a set of 583's that are in my convertible now so I figured I would save them in case I need to ship some myself. As for those 65 manifolds those will eventually end up on the 65 block I'm building that will go in my plane Jane 65 hardtop that has a 283 with a glide in it now and was converted to a ss clone but I don't know yet if I will convert it to a 4 speed car or leave it as a automatic but leaning as keeping it a glide car as my 4 other cars are 4 speeds.
