Upon purchasing my 63 .....Wayback when...... these items which I just came across, cleaning out an old drawer ......still in a baggie from when I cleaned it out...... when I initially bought it ....... too bad it didn’t spend more time in California before it came this way .......... The first coin the 1963 quarter is silver

Yes they were especially great in a Western New York winter When I was in High School I worked at an Exxon (ESSO for awhile) station and we pumped gas, washed the windshields, and checked the oil. I used to dread getting handed the key for the cap from the driver in the winter. Half the time the lock was frozen. On the bright side, in the summer, I spent special attention on the windshield cleaning when there were young chicks in the car. This was 1967-69 which was still the mini skirt era. Ah, those were the days

I had a guy tell me years ago when he owned a gas station full service some gals would say be sure to check the oil. So pulling dipstick they had engraved ass for gas on it. I asked if he ever did . He said Hell no ,never no what you would get. Although it looked tempting at times.lol.

Sorry guys I don’t know how I messed up….. I was trying to attach this to where the Cowl tags are being deciphered by Carl and I was going to add that onto where they we were talking about finding the build sheet because this was an old thread so I apologize for re-issuing if the administrator would want to move it that’s where I meant to put it Bob……Sorry again for rehashing…….59-63 cowl tags…….……..Now I really feel dumb I don’t know how I have it in both places
