Not enough! With this car whatever comes off the 60’ is exactly what comes off the et. It also doesn’t care if I shift at 6500 or 6800 it runs the same et. An intake better than the edelbrock is what it needs. Then I’ll jump right to the 9s!

Probably one of the few still running a dual plane intake I would guess.

Dan's likely stuck with a dual plane due to the N.S.S. rules in the groups that he runs with.If he could stuff one of Carls intakes under there and still meet the rules,he's likely looking at high 9.80's,more once he gets it "tuned" in.

You can run cast aftermarket no Sheetmetal intakes allowed. Carl's intake will pass spec.

Any cast intake is ok like James said. I just can’t justify 1600 bucks for a cast intake. I understand why McQuillen charges what he does. Low production means higher cost. I just can’t do it.

Your car and combo is awesome Dan, hat's off Any cast intake? Would that include an M/T Power Ram, weren’t they cast in 1964?

Any cast intake. I don’t want the cross ram though. I want to keep my air box.

McQuillen would be the only way to go. A M/T always looks cool but you would be leaving performance on the table for the similar price point in a McQuillen.
