We are considering getting a Quick Jack, has anyone used one with a X frame Chevrolet..

I think those lift on the pinch welds of the cars, not sure how that might work on an X frame car.

For sure , X frame cars have to be lifted under the frame , NOT !!! under the pinch welds.

I have one. I've never used it on my X frame cars. They're on Kwiklifts. But Quick Jack has a cross beam for them. Kinda heavy. They say to only use one cross beam, but I think you could use 2. And get points under your frame to lift your car. I have the ext 7000 and picked up the Ram with it. 2010 3500 dually regular cab, cummins 6 speed 2wd. So an X frame car wouldn't be a problem. On their site they have a picture of a 1964 on their lift. The jack frames are opposite of how they are normally used but I think there was no engine in the car after researching it.

Also, one thing. I probably wouldn't use the Quick Jack on my X frame Impala with out securing the rear end. My Hotchkis and long shocks will allow the rear to drop so low it would stretch the rear braided brake line to the point of breakage.
